As a homeowner, you are most likely well aware of many if not all areas of your home that need your attention from time to time. If there are problems in certain areas, some are easier to identify immediately simply by a visual look or inspection, or by way of a crisis occurring (leaky roof during a rainstorm, power outage, etc.) Some problems, like septic problems, may not be immediately recognized, but if the septic problem turns into a ‘crisis’, then it most certainly will make itself quite obvious!
You could very well be experiencing septic problems, which can be identified pretty quickly if you start seeing your toilet not flushing like normal. Perhaps the drains in the shower, tub, or kitchen are slower than they’ve been usually. These are good visual signs. If you hear gurgling sounds in the pipes or around the drain, these can be good audio clues. And perhaps just as obvious, if you’re smelling some foul, ‘foreign’ odors in the kitchen, bathroom, or outside, this could certainly be a telltale sign there’s a problem with your septic system.
If you live in central Florida (Lake, Orange, Osceola, or Seminole County) and are experiencing one or more of these problems, it would really be in your best interest to address this problem right away.
